Realme 8 Pro launch in India is imminent. It has been confirmed by Realme alongside the Realme 8. So, at least two smartphones in the Realme 8 series are arriving. Realme has also shared some details on the specifications of the two phones but the information has been sparing. Especially for the Realme 8 Pro, the concrete details about which include the 108MP camera and a 5G model. Now, a new piece of information begs to tell that model number sourced from certification websites. Besides, the launch date of the Realme 8 series has also been tipped.

The Realme 8 Pro was spotted on the Indonesia Telecom website bearing the model number RMX3081. Now, this model had previously been found to have received certifications from Europe’s EEC and US FCC. These listings also revealed some specifications of the Realme 8 Pro, including RAM options of 6GB and 8GB, 128GB internal memory, a 4500mAh battery with support for 65W fast charging, and Android 11 out of the box with Realme UI 2.0. The specifications paint a nice picture for the smartphone that is going to be the successor to last year’s Realme 7 Pro. But the most interesting bit is going to be the 108MP camera on the phone.

Realme, earlier this month, held its Camera Innovation Event to talk about the new 108MP camera. It is a Samsung ISOCELL HM2 sensor that was introduced last year and has been the favourite sensor of Samsung and Xiaomi. Although Samsung upgraded the sensor technology with the latest ISOCELL HM3, the HM2 is still a good option and Realme is using that. Leveraging the sensor capabilities, Realme is giving features such as Starry Mode and the new Tilt-Shift Mode on the 8 Pro. And all this is what Realme will pitch is the most interesting thing about the Realme 8 Pro.

The specifications of the Realme 8 series are already confirmed. In a photo, Realme India boss Madhav Sheth revealed the Realme 8 will come with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED full-screen display, a first in the Realme number series phone since it has been the LCD so far. There is no information, however, whether the display will support the 90Hz or higher refresh rate. The smartphone will use the MediaTek Helio G95 processor, which was used on the Realme 7, as well. This means there is not going to be any improvements in the performance of the phone over its predecessor.

Much like the Realme 7, the Realme 8 is also going to have a 5000mAh battery with 30W fast charging. And finally, the Realme 8 is going to have a 64MP main camera in the setup of four cameras on the back.

Besides, a Twitter tipster who goes by Debayan Roy has said that the Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro will be launched in India on March 24. This is slightly different from what we heard before. A previous tip suggested the Realme 8 series could debut in India on March 25. Right now, it is unclear when the Realme 8 series launch will take place. But Realme is expected to make an announcement soon.
